Celebrating 101 years

It was with great JOY that 18 of the sisters of the Hunter region gathered at St. Joseph’s Sandgate on Sunday 20th February to celebrate the 101st birthday of our amazing Sr Germaine. One sister was heard to say – ‘What a shame the whole Congregation can’t be here!’
This was the first time we had been able to gather as a group since the 100th celebrations, due to COVID. We delighted in the company of each other while honouring our precious sister.
A blessing of these years is that they enable us to change our part of the world in ways that are as expressive of us as they are good for others.
