Santa Sabina College
and Siena College

Sister Sheila Flynn OP has been involved in sharing the life and legacy of St Dominic responding to the mission of Jesus in several Dominican schools in Australia for many years since 2002, and at Siena College Melbourne, and Santa Sabina College New South Wales in particular, for the past four years, exploring with staff, boards and students the richness and depth of our Dominican heritage within the lens of the Four Pillars, and its application for our times as searchers of truth and justice.
This has included studying the life of St Dominic and many Dominican luminaries such as St Catherine of Siena, St Thomas Aquinas, its mystics, the impact of the Salamanca process, etc. Also exploring its theologians and writers, its artists, and justice-bearers. Sheila also shares the riches of contemporary Dominican women working as agents of transformation and change, bearing the Good News to our fractured world by their presence.
Down the ages Dominic’s followers
have sought Truth without
compromise.
