Melbourne Dominicans pray at the graves of their deceased

The local Dominicans sisters and brothers in Melbourne gathered on Saturday 13 November, to remember and pray for the deceased members of the Order buried at Box Hill cemetery. This annual ritual has become a sacred tradition on the calendar in November for many years.
Remember our deceased sisters and brothers of the Order,
In life they were associated with us
through friendship and charity.
As members of the Dominican family,
we commend them to your mercy
and beg you hold them now
in your loving embrace.
May their fidelity be a source
of inspiration and witness
as we preach the Gospel.
