Safeguarding Children Training Session
The Dominican Sisters of Eastern Australia and the Solomon Islands are committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. Training sessions for all sisters, employees and volunteers are being run in each of the four regions of the Congregation.
Due to COVID restrictions, the first session for sisters in Victoria and Tasmania was held via Zoom. Sessions planned for Sydney, the Hunter Valley and the Solomon Islands will be held in small groups or by zoom, in the coming weeks.
Catholic Professional Standards Ltd (CPSL) will conduct an audit in November.
